    Initial Appointment – 50 minutes:

    We create a safe space to complete a detailed nutrition assessment. This includes:

    • Diet and Nutrition History

    • Medical History and Results

    • Food Beliefs and Habits

    • Barriers and Challenges

    • Lifestyle Factors (movement, sleep, stress)

    • Personal Health and Nutrition Goals

    • Nutrition Education

    • Personalised Recommendations (based on your goals)

    Review Appointment - 30 minutes:

    Appointments at So Foody Dietetics are conducted via Telehealth (video or phone) and face-to-face.

    Medicare

    To be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate, you need to have a current Enhanced Primary Care Plan, otherwise known as a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan, from your GP. Through this plan, you will be eligible for Medicare rebates of $60.35 per appointment, for a maximum of 5 appointments per year.

    Private Health

    You may be eligible for a rebate from your private health fund depending on your level of extras cover. If you are making a claim, you can use the paid invoice that is emailed to you after your appointment.

    To check your eligibility, please ask your insurer about rebates for item codes:

    • 500 & 600: In-person consultations (initial & review)

    • 301 & 302: Telehealth consultations (initial & review)

    Please note that the above initial and review consultation fees apply to Tele-health appointments ONLY via So Foody Dietetics. Fees and appointment length may differ at servicing GP clinics.

  • Telehealth

    Please cancel or reschedule your appointment with 48 hours notice via email. This gives us the opportunity to fill the appointment. Failure to do so will incur a fee of 50% of your appointment cost.

    Face-to-face

    Please contact the GP clinic you scheduled with, within 24 hours of your appointment to cancel or reschedule. Please note that fees may differ at each clinic based on the clinics cancellation policy.
