Tzatziki Dip
This is hands down the easiest dip to whip up and it will seriously enhance your weekday snacking. I make this recipe by adding ingredients straight into the yoghurt tub so there is minimal mess to wash up which is a huge win! Rich in protein, calcium and flavour, this Mediterranean tzatziki dip recipe will make crackers and veggies sticks so much more enjoyable!
Ingredients
1kg Greek yoghurt (farmers union)
1 continental cucumber (peel if you prefer)
1 tsp white vinegar
½ tsp salt
1 heaped tbsp olive oil
1 large clove garlic, grated or 1 tsp minced garlic
Handful freshly chopped dill
Method
1. Grate cucumber into a large bowl. Squeeze the cucumber using your hands to rid of the liquid, or use a cheesecloth to wring out the excess liquid if you prefer.
2. Peel the lid off the yoghurt tub (leave yoghurt in the tub). Add cucumber, garlic, salt, vinegar, oil, and dill into the yoghurt.
3. Mix ingredients thoroughly into the yoghurt and enjoy with pita, meatballs, vegetable sticks, crackers, added to a Mediterranean sandwich or by the spoon!
